Thunderbird is stocked with Catfish, Largemouth Bass, Crappie and other fish that are well known in the northern Arkansas areas for those who want to try their luck.

Sequoyah Lake is also connected to Thunderbird by a navigable canal that connects and allows boat access between Thunderbird Lake and Sequoyah Lake. The canal also provides boat access to Gitche Gummee Beach for swimming on Sequoyah Lake.

All lakes in the village are private and available to property owners and their guests. If you’re staying in the village, it’s easy to get a guest pass to use the lake.
